Flexible shaft coupling FC 02.200 – Torque capacity 200 Nm
The flexible shaft coupling is installed between the marine gearbox output flange and the propeller shaft to dampen noise-generating vibrations caused by the engine and shaft system. At the same time, it protects the marine gearbox from continuous torsional vibration impacts. In the event of damage, the flexible shaft coupling protects the more expensive components of the drivetrain by failing first, but only in the case of an exceptionally severe shock.
